This Collaboration Committee meeting has a particular importance: it serves to the European Commission, which will be present, to assess the mid-term progress of HadronPhysics2, in what is called the Mid-Term Review. Therefore, after each presentation, sufficient time will be left for questions and answers both by the audience and the Commission.
Moreover, the Project Officer Mr. Christian Kurrer has requested “to have, at the end of the meeting, a more general discussion about what has been achieved – not within a specific work package, but on a global level – in making Europe a better place for hadron physics.” The Commission might lead this discussion “given its importance both for assessing the progress of HadronPhysics2 and for preparing HadronPhysics3.” In this framework, each spokesperson has been given 20 minutes: 10 minutes to present its activity plus 10 minutes to address eventual questions. At the end of the presentations one and a half hour will be dedicated to the general discussions. In case you are unable to attend, please inform Yara Bravo and myself indicating the name of your substitute. Finally, I remind you that before the conclusion of the meeting, which will be chaired by Ralf Kaiser, the election of the new Chairperson must be held. |
